Snow snow and more snow cant it just go away

I am so tired of this stupid snow. It started sunday night and hasnt stopped since. It has been a huge headache for me. To start with monday on my way home from dropping the boys off at the bus stop I got into an accident. What a pain in the butt. It wasnt bad. The little 17 year old who had no clue how to drive on the snow lost control of her car and ended up sideways across my lane. I tried to stop and slid 20 feet before bumping into her car. I did nothing to my van but dented her car door (passenger side). Well it took the cops 45 minutes to get to us. Then the cop goes and tickets me becuase as he put it " I had to site someone so I decided to site you with following to closely". Yea the girl that LOST CONTROLL OF HER CAR got nothing. So far our insurance company says that they are leaning towards 50-80% her fault. Which means I am going to pay 50-20% of the the damage to her car. They are waiting for the police report (that I am going to fight) to decide just how much at fault I am. I think its BS that she lost control of her car and i slid 20 feet before tapping her and she gets off free and clear. UUUUUGGGG

Ok so on to the rest of my life. It is soon going to pick up here. Marc has the polar bear tournament in 2 weeks (the same weekend I have my girls night out woohoo cant waite). Then in 2 weeks after that softball begins. So does soccer. So basically tuesdays, wednesdays is softball, fridays is bowling, and saturdays is soccer uuuuuggg busy busy life.

Well that is all that is happening right now in ouor lifes. Dont forget to help out with my walk now for autism.

Walk now for autism

As you may all know I have twin boys Isaac and Jackson who have autism. Well every year they do a walk to help raise funds. This year I have decided to walk and have recruited my mom and Adrienne so far and hopefully anyone else that would like to walk with me. Below I am posting a link to my donation page (please help by donating any amount small or big) and also something to help you better understand what it is I am doing and what i am doing it for.

Walk Now for Autism, the nation's largest grassroots autism walk program, is Autism Speaks' signature fundraising and awareness event, taking place in communities across the United States, as well as in Canada and the United Kingdom. Powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum, this successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.
What is Autism?
Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that typically lasts throughout a person's lifetime. It is part of a group of disorders known as autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Today, 1 in 150 individuals is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined. It occurs in all racial, ethnic, and social groups and is four times more likely to strike boys than girls. Autism impairs a person's ability to communicate and relate to others. It is also associated with rigid routines and repetitive behaviors, such as obsessively arranging objects or following very specific routines. Symptoms can range from very mild to quite severe. If your child is diagnosed with autism, early intervention is critical to gain maximum benefit from existing therapies. Although parents may have concerns about labeling a toddler as "autistic," the earlier the diagnosis is made, the earlier interventions can begin. Currently, there are no effective means to prevent autism, no fully effective treatments, and no cure. Research indicates, however, that early intervention in an appropriate educational setting for at least two years during the preschool years can result in significant improvements for many young children with autism spectrum disorders. As soon as autism is diagnosed, early intervention instruction should begin. Effective programs focus on developing communication, social, and cognitive skills.
Facts about Autism Did you know?
1 in 150 children is diagnosed with autism 1 in 94 boys is on the autism spectrum 67 children are diagnosed per day A new case is diagnosed almost every 20 minutes
More children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes & cancer combined Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the U.S. Autism costs the nation over $35 billion per year, a figure expected to significantly increase in the next decade Autism receives less than 5% of the research funding of many less prevalent childhood diseases Boys are four times more likely than girls to have autism There is no medical detection or cure for autism

So this last weekend was pretty busy. First on Friday night Haylie and I had a fairy tea party to go to. We go every year with all the girls in my family. Its done at the provo library and you have to get in line really really early a couple weeks in advance to get the tickets (thank you Adrienne and my mom who do this every year). The tickets sell out in an hour. The girls all love it. They have a fairy king and his court, ballet dancers, and a tea party.

Then on Saturday we were all going in diffrent directions. The twins were staying home with Becky our respite care worker. Haylie and I went to see the draper temple with my parents, Marc and Hunter went to softball practice. After the temple and softball practice Haylie and I met marc and Hunter at nickle mania and we played there for a bit before heading to the mall. While at the mall we stopped at build a bear which is one of my kids favorite places. I dont go often because the cloths are expensive. I let them each pick out a new outfit for there dogs. Hunter picked a military outfit with sunglasses, Haylie picked new jammies with a bed roll. After the mall we headed to Hunters soccer game.

They did great the first half and was tied 4-4 at half time. Then it went all downhill. I think the end score was 10-4 not us uuggg. Hunter really needs to practice ball controll.

When we got home Hunter was wearing his glasses from build a bear. well we decided to try them on Zander, they fit just right and he looked so cute.

Sunday Haylie had church, Marc and Hunter went to go play poker, and I stayed home with the boys.

So there is my weekend and here are a few pictures.

Can I cry????

So we recieved some good and bad news this past week. Lets start with the good news.

We had been having a hard time paying ouor morgage as we had to refinance a few years back and ended up with a really high payment. Well we did a loan modification and ended up getting it and slashed our morgage by 400.00 woohoo. Great news there.

Bad news. Saturday we recieved what we were hopeing was the acceptance letter to pingree for the twins. Instead it was a letter saying they were NOT accepted. I could cry. Pingree has been the best thing for our twins. We now have to put them into public school. Dont get me wrong I have nothing wrong with Public school in general but there special ed programs suck rocks. Last time we had the twins in the preschool program they called DCFS on us. So needless to say I am not looking forward to going from a ratio of 2 kids to 1 teacher to 4-6 kids to one teacher. I also know they will not get as good of a program. More or less it will be babysitting. So that is our bad news.

As for the rest of my life and my family everything is going ok. Hunter is still doing futsol. Marc is gettting geared up to play softball. We have now gone to 2 practices and can Ijust say BBBBRRRRRR. Haylie is wanting to start dance so I really need to find her a god class. Zander is getting over a cold and had some constipation problems but we are all good now and I think I am going to have to give him Water from time to time to help with the constipation. I am living life from day to day. I changed my day care hours on friday from 7:30 to 6:00 to 7:30 to 5:00 that way Marc and I can go bowling on fridays and also it gives me a small break. This weekend will be a busy one for us. I am actually closing at 3:30 so that Haylie and I can go to the annual Fairy tea party at the Provo library. We look forward to it every year and have a blast. While we are at the party Zander will spend some papa bonding time with his Papa. My dad cant waite. I am just hoping he will be ok since I have only left him for an hour tops with Marc before. Well I am off to deal with kids (the twins have no school today aaahhhhhh).

Ok I think I am happy with it now. I dont know we will see lol.
So quick update. Haylie had her 9th birthday party (cant believe she is that old). She then had her cousins McKae and Kira sleep over. The next day we went to the park and Marc practiced softball. The twins did really well wich was a shock to me. Its been a busy weekend but that is ok. Maybe next weekend I will have a chance to relax a little more.
We are having to do a human rights meeting with the twins school again. This time for Isaac. Basically what that is is we meet with the teachers, directors, and social workers to come up with a plan to help with all his aggresions. We already had one with Jacksons teachers and such. We are actually going to ask this time if we can get some sort of meds for Jackson as he is out of controll. Isaac is managable still. I hate medicating my kids but when you cant do anything because of there behaviors then something more has to be done.
Zander is doing well. He shocked me and slept longer last night then he ever has before. He went to bed around 8pm which is also when I put the twins to bed (marc was down the street playing poker at a neighbors and Hunter was with him Haylie was at her nana and papas for the night) and I climbed into the tub (aaaahhhh). Well Zander woke up around 12:00 which is about an hour after I went to bed. I put his binki in and he went right back to sleep. He slept until 4:00 am. I am hoping to get him to the point were I dont have to get up at 12 and stick the binki back in and then have him sleep until 5:30 which is when I have to get up during the week anyways. That would be great lol because that would be a full nights sleep for me. I am not sure I would know what to do if that happened lol.
Other then that things are just going along. Marc and I are going to start bowling every friday night since I am now closing my daycare on fridays at 5 instead of 6. Its something both of us feel we need. We need a night out away from most of the kids (Zander goes with us). Its also something we enjoy doing.
Ok well I am off to play some games online. I will update again soon.
I am changing my layout so if things look weird hopefully they wont for long. Though do have to cook dinner real quick and right now I am not happy with this layout. UUUUGGGG
